Computer Science Specialist Educator

I am a highly qualified, skilled and experienced Lecturer in Computer Science, and current Senior Manager at a tech-specialist remote delivery independent training provider. I currently manage a wide variety of tech and Computer Science provision, and with vast experience as a Senior Examiner and Scrutineer for exam boards in the UK, I have a detailed understanding of how to best prepare for external exams. I work with industry partners such as Cisco and have long-running relationships with some of the UK's key technical and digital employers.

General Tutoring - Online

I can support a wide variety of Computing-based curriculums, such as A-Level, T-Level, BTEC, GCSE, Scottish Highers and Degree-level programmes. All of these sessions are bespoke to the student, taking individual circumstances into account; you will recieve all notes from our sessions, as well as any materials used. Lessons can be recorded and shared for an additional fee. Lessons will take place on either Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

General Tutoring - At your Home

I can support a wide variety of Computing-based curriculums, such as A-Level, T-Level, BTEC, GCSE, Scottish Highers and Degree-level programmes. All of these sessions are bespoke to the student, taking individual circumstances into account; you will recieve all notes from our sessions, as well as any materials used. I can travel within 5 miles of Woolavginton, Somerset (TA7) for free (one-way), further distances will incur additional costs.

Specialist Tutoring - Teacher Training: Support and PGCE

I have successfully supported many staff and prospective teachers through their PGCE study, including academic report writing and research, as well as practical teaching assistance and portfolio work.

Specialist Tutoring - Students with Difficulties, Homeschooling, Long Absenses or NEET

I have a wide range of experience with students who have learning or behavioural difficulties who needs support re-entering or staying within education. Some of these students may have had, or have, long lapses in education or may be Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). Homeschooled students may require extra help understanding some of the curriculum areas, or help with exam technique.
