Cancellation Policy and Agreement

I tutor students from a variety of tutoring platforms, as well as private bookings; all lessons are booked subject to this cancellation agreement. In order to ensure a worthwhile, enjoyable and valuable session for my students, I spend a significant amount of time in session preparation, as well as research, marking and administration - often several days in advance. Emergencies happen, and sometimes cancellations are unavoidable - for both parties - which is why there is no charge if sessions are cancelled up to 48 hours before the session's start time. The first cancellation is also not charged, regardless of when this may be.

If the cancellation is within 48 hours of the session's agreed start time, charges will be applied as followed:

• Cancellation made up to 48 hours before session start time: FREE
• First cancellation within 48 hours: FREE
• First cancellation within 24 hours: 50% of agreed session cost
• Other cancellation made within 48 hours: 50% of agreed session cost
• Other cancellation made within 24 hours: 100% of agreed session cost

Students will be given 15 minutes to join the session from the agreed time - if this passes and the student has not joined the session via the agreed platform, the session will be charged in full. This is to ensure that all of my students recieve their full alloted time, starting at their alloted time.

It is possible that I may be delayed, or may have to cancel a session. In these rare circumstances, you will be notified as soon as practically possible and offered a new time at your earliest convenience.

Please agree to the below form in order to secure your booking - any bookings made by clients that have not agreed to the above policy by the first scheduled session will be cancelled and charged as above.
